William "Bill" Helfrich III, 55, of West Palm Beach Florida passed away unexpectedly on January 4, 2022.
Born March 18, 1966 in Quincy, Massachusetts, Bill grew up in Braintree, MA. He graduated from Braintree High School, attended Syracuse University where he majored in architecture and business. While at Syracuse, he met his beloved wife Maura Eckert. The two made a life for themselves on Florida's east coast where Bill founded his business See Yacht, a marine video advertising agency.
Following his beloved wife's early and unexpected tragic death, leaving him with his two young, beautiful, beloved daughters Casey Marie Helfrich and Margot Audrey Helfrich, Bill founded Under Water H20, a marine maintenance company.
Bill is predeceased by his loving mother, Susan Helfrich, his father-in-law, Peter Eckert, and his brother-in-law Gerard Eckert and will be forever missed by his two daughters, Casey and Margot; his father, Dr. William Helfrich and wife Pam Helfrich; his sisters, Kristen (John) Mendl-Day, Susan Jennings, Kristen (Kevin) Sheehan, Dayna (William) Falla, and Nichole (Timothy) Sullivan; his brother Brett (Jennifer) Curran; mother-in-law, Patricia Eckert; sister-in-law, Darcie (Patrick) Eckert-O'Donahough; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and life long friends.
Bill will be fondly remembered by those that love him as a creative, warm, and loyal soul that had a contagious zest for life and all things beautiful, especially music, the ocean, and friendships.
A private service for the family will be held in Boynton Beach, FL.
The funeral service will be held at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, 599 NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach, FL, Thursday, January 13th at 11:00 AM.
