Vincenzina "Vinni" Benvenuti

VINCENZINA “VINNI” BENVENUTI of Boynton Beach died on December 5, 2016. Vinni was a Richmond, VA native and Florida resident since 1962. She had a lifelong career in voice, piano, opera and theatre. She pursued a professional operatic career with the Greater Miami Opera (now Florida Grand Opera) where she understudied the role of Madame Butterfly and appeared with international opera stars Franco Corelli, Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo.
Vinni was predeceased by her husband, Henry “Hank” of 69 years. She is survived by her son, Henry “Bud” Benvenuti, Jr. of Cocoa, FL; daughters, Janet Lee (Ron) Lewis of Florence, OR and Joyce Ann (Gene) Hieger of Lexington, KY. Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Jessica, Brian, Jared and Jeff and several nieces and nephews and predeceased by infant daughter, Carol Ann.
The Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach, Florida.
