49 of Lantana passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 after a brief illness.
Vickie was born on October 19, 1965 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Virgilio Ordonez and Anna Velazco. She was a 21 year employee of Publix Supermarkets and was considered a second mother by many fellow employees.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Esteban Torres Perez; 3 children, Esteban Torres Jr., Priscilla Torres and Victor Andres Torres; her grandson and “my baby”, Manual De La Torre III; stepmother, Blanca Ordonez; 2 brothers, Virgilio Ordonez Jr. and Ivan Ortiz; and her Publix family.
A Celebration of Vickie’s life will be held Thursday, February 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach.
