Timothy Cox left us on November 1, 2020 with his beloved wife by his side.
Timothy was born on October 18, 1968 in Boynton Beach, Florida to the late Ronald and Mary Cox. Timothy attended Lake Worth High School and graduated in 1986. He was full of life until his health began to fail him. He enjoyed fishing and his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.
He met and married the love of his life Towanda in 2003 in which they shared numerous memories together. Timothy worked as a Utility Mechanic for The City of Riviera Beach, Florida for over fourteen years.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Mary Ann Cox, and one brother Johnny Lee Cox.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife Towanda Cox of Boynton Beach Fl, one daughter Jeanette (Kendrick) Chisley of Houston, Texas, one stepdaughter Markeshia Monroe of Houston, Texas, two stepsons Marcus Monroe, Jr of Pahokee, Florida and Tavis Monroe of Delray Beach, Florida. Two sisters Vicky (Terrance) Thomas of Jupiter, Florida and Leah (Lorenzo) Wright of West Palm Beach, Florida. One brother Ronald (Jackie) Cox of Boynton Beach, Florida. Beulah Mae Durham mother-in-love. Five (5) sisters-in-law Tonya (James) Graham of Riviera Beach, Fl, Johanna Durham of Jacksonville, Fl, Shaqunna (Calvin) Edwards of Brandon, Fl, Angela Mitchell and Shalonda Durham of Pahokee, Fl. Two (2) grandchildren Hayden and Hermione Chisley. A special friend Clyde Preister. A special nephew Justin Cox. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
Friends will be received at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, 599 N.E. 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2020. The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo, 7479 Overlook Road, Lantana, Florida. Burial will follow at Boynton Beach Memorial Park.
