Thomas “Tom” Edward Maxwell
December 31, 1980 – March 2, 2022
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas “Tom” Edward Maxwell (Boynton Beach, Florida), who passed away March 2, 2022, at the age of 41. He was the son of Edward “Ed” W. and Katharine “Kathy” Lynch (Hamilton) Maxwell, born December 31, 1980, in Delaware. The love of Tom’s life was his beloved daughter, Piper Katharine Maxwell, who he brought into this world with Lauren M. High, and named for his departed mother, Katharine.
Tom graduated from High School in Pennsylvania, then attended the Florida Culinary Institute after moving to South Florida. Many will remember him at the chef at Ambrosia Italian Restaurant, West Palm Beach, before being welcomed like one of the family to the kitchen at Windy City Pizza in Delray Beach.
Besides leaving behind his daughter Piper, West Palm Beach and his father Ed, Port Charlotte, he will also be missed by uncles Chandler Hamilton (Leesburg, VA) and Chris Hamilton (Milpitas, CA) and their families, numerous cousins and friends.
