Theresa Scottie, 64 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away on November 9th, 2020. She was born in Buffalo New York on August 27, 1956. She was the youngest of 5 daughters of Rose and Louie Fragale. She graduated Depew High School. She then gave birth to her only child Jaye Marie and moved to South Florida. She met her husband John W. Scottie and she began her career working for the City of North Lauderdale and then later for the City of Coconut Creek where she became an Investigations Aid. She went to college at night and earned 2 Associates Degrees along with many other certifications. She later moved to Sebring and then moved to Boynton Beach where she worked for the West Palm Beach County Appraiser’s office as the Lead GIS Mapper. Theresa is survived by one child: Jaye Marie also known as Victoria Elizabeth and grandchildren Logan, Joe & Eddie. Theresa was an immensely proud of her family and was a great artist. She loved to ride her motorcycle and read about physics and science. She had a great sense of humor and wherever she went she brought joy and laughter. Her favorite quote she would always say when she saw people riding on their motorcycles was, “Ride Man Ride.” Her Legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with.
The Viewing ceremony will be held on Wednesday November 18th, 2020 at 4:30 pm at the Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home. Family and friends and others are invited to come or to watch on zoom meeting to support the family, reminisce, and grieve.
