THELMA RADOVICH CHUREY
Of Boynton Beach, Florida was called home September 12, 2018.
She was born in Newboro, PA the daughter of Joseph (Josef) and Mary (Marija) Radovich. She married John “June” Churey in 1952 in Uniontown, PA and lived in Boynton Beach, Florida since 1956. Thelma was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and teacher to her family. She was a member of The Women’s Auxiliary at Bethesda Memorial Hospital for 19 years. She loved volunteering.
Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, John. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sandra Churey Farrell (John), June Ann Churey Townend (Ben); 2 sons, Robert Churey (Christine), John Churey, Jr. (Karen); 6 grandchildren, Robert, Joey (Michelle), Maree, Benny, Lauren (Tyler) and Johnny; 2 great grandchildren, Shelby and Sierra; sister, Frannie (Robert) Marshall and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Family was Thelma’s passion and delight. One you could count on no matter what.
We remember you now in love . . . your life from start to end, we are all glad we knew you, as mother and our friend. Thelma is a member of St. Mark Catholic Church.
Friends will be received at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach on Monday, September 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach, Florida. The Committal Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida (Lane #5).
