She had just celebrated her 79th birthday with her family and friends. Sybil graduated from Charleroi High School in 1958. She began working as a hairdresser, and after just a few years, she opened her own beauty salon and clothing store. She married Phillip Anthony in 1966 and moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida in 1972. Once in Florida, she dedicated herself to her children and became president of their school’s Mothers’ Club. She later studied to become an interior designer and real estate agent, and managed the family construction company that she co-owned and operated with her former husband Phillip. She is the daughter of Nick Maddock and Amelia Maddock, both deceased. Sybil is survived by her three loving children: Leigh Anthony, Neil Anthony (Karen) and Albert Anthony (Tracey); former husband Phillip Anthony; sister Adele Warren; grandsons Christopher and Justin Anthony; niece Shantele Feitknecht; and great nieces Morgan and Paige Feitknecht. Sybil was a trusted and beloved woman to many lifelong friends and new friends that she continued to make through every phase of her life. She loved animals, especially her Yorkie, Chloe, her faithful princess companion. Above all else, Sybil loved and lived for her family. Her kindness, compassion, and respect for every person in her life made this world a better place. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
