Susie Jane Brannon

Susie Brannon was born in Lawrence County, Alabama on April 28, 1927. She is survived by her 3 children, Jeannette, Guy (Christella) and Coy (Sheila) Brannon. Susie also has 11 grandchildren, 26 great and 25 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cobie and her son, Roy. Susie was southern raised on a farm in Alabama where she developed her values and grew to become the most sweetest and amazing woman that so many people would be blessed to meet in the years to come. She believed in Christianity and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior as well as practiced these principles in her everday life. Susie will always be remembered as the “Backbone” of the family as she continuously thrived to keep our family traditions alive and practice them every year. She truly enjoyed seeing everyone spend time together as a family at her home in Boynton Beach. Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and her birthday were some of the most memorable times, as this was when she would gather the family to celebrate these special days of the year. Susie was a huge inspiration in the lives of so many people and she left an everlasting imprint in the hearts of those who knew her.
One Saturday, July 25th, after 93 years of living her best life on this beautiful earth, the Good Lord called Susie home to Heaven. Until the day we meet her again, we pray that she may rest in peace.
