Our hearts and souls have gained another guardian, as one of our most beloved family members, Steven has been lifted of his body of armor here with us.
Steven Kenneth Jefferson, age 38 resided in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Steven passed away in a sacred place he called “home “with his family on September 23, 2024.
Steven was born to Carol and Kenneth Jefferson on July 3 of 1986. His body of armor soon strengthened to carry his lifetime of illness. Steven was always ready for excitement, if fear was involved so was he. He lived for the excitement in everything. His fun-loving personality made everything better! He loved skateboarding, roller skating, swimming, and most of all playing basketball as a young child. He graduated in 2004 in Avon Park Florida. There he obtained his diploma and his journeymen’s trade and electrical engineering. It was years later, approximately 8 years ago, he learned of the devastating news of his actual heart condition, with limited time given for him to enjoy his life. Soon after he married his teenage love, Melyssa in the year of 2019, gaining a son and adding a daughter to their family as well.
Steven continued every day knowing of his heart condition but managed to “live like he was dying”. Every moment was unknown to when such would become a memory. He thrived to be a family man, to Steven family was everything, every holiday, every birthday, every event involving family he was the guy! He was always happily ready to get together! He definitely will be remembered by many for his humble kind and always caring self for the family or friends that needed him. Most, if not all, would say he never turned anyone away and would always make sure whoever was “Good”, with a smile. A loyal great friend indeed. Although his heart may have been weak, he always managed to remain happy, kind and caring for others.
Steven is survived by his wife Melyssa Jefferson, his five children, Zachery, Ethan, Laila, Raymond, and Piper
Also survived by his parents, Carol Jefferson, Kenneth and Nancy Jefferson
His five siblings, Jason, Heather, William Traci and Brian
