Steve Tuman passed away suddenly on April 27, 2026. Born on September 6, 1954, in  Brooklyn, Steve spent his early years growing up on Long Island. He studied at State University of New York College at Cortland and later earned his Master's degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University.

Steve dedicated more than 40 years to the School District of Palm Beach County, where his impact reached far beyond the classroom. Throughout his career as an educatior, coach, athletic director, and assistant principal, he inspired and encouraged countless students with kindness, creativity, and his unforgettable sense of humor. He was deeply devoted to his students and took pride in celebrating their accomplishments. Most recently,he was honored during the Palm Beach Lakes High School Graduation, where he would normally have proudly walked alongside his graduating students.

Steve was a lifelong sports enthusiast who loved golf, music, and traveling. He was known for his big heart, dear friendships, quick wit, and ability to make people laugh when they needed it most. He had a gift for inspiring others and making everyone feel welcome - and he never missed a chance to tell a good story or crack a joke.

Steve touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life for Steve will be held on Friday, May 22, at 1:00PM at First Church Boynton Beach. All are welcome.
