SAVERIO F. DECUZZI
Age 76 of Boynton Beach passed away Nov. 5, 2018. Sam came to this area 22 years ago from Long Island, New York. Sam had been the owner and operator of Riverhead Beef in Riverhead, New York. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara J. DeCuzzi on January 2, 2018, his brother, Frank DeCuzzi Sr. and his 2 sisters, Theresa Foglia and Pauline Palmeri. Sam loved to cook, travel and watch old movies. He attended St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Sam is survived by his sister, Angela Maria (Benny) Addeo; dear friend, Connie Ristaino; sister-in-law, Josephine DeCuzzi; 3 nephews, Blaise (Barbara) Addeo, Dominic (Terry) Addeo and Frank DeCuzzi Jr.; 3 nieces, Josette (Frank) Stanton, Anne Marie Brown and Mary Ellen (Joe) LoGiudice; and his Pappillon “Patsy”. He is also survived by his other nieces, Joy Gerard & Jill Thompson and his nephew, Brett Wilkinson and his best friend of 30 years Al Ricci.
Friends will be received from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Boynton Beach. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in North Lauderdale, Florida.
