Sandra Long

It is with heavy heart that we share the passing of Sandra Long age 79 of South Palm Beach, Florida.

Sandy passed away on June 21, 2026. She was born on April 26, 1947 in Brockton, Massachusetts. She built a wonderful life with her husband, Jim, that she loved. Her life was filled with family, fun and travel raising her family in New Hampshire and then enjoying many joyful years of retirement in Maine and Florida.

Sandy set an incredible example for all that knew her. Her strength, resilience, optimism and kindness were felt by all. Her endless zest for life, positivity, laughter and sense of adventure was loved and admired. She was curious about the world and loved travelling with her husband, visiting many states and numerous countries in their 58 years of marriage. Her kind smile, laughter and optimism never left even in her final year while facing a serious illness. She gave us all so much and we will remember the many lessons she taught us - She is a presence that can never be replaced.

Sandy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, James, her loving children; Colleen, Erin and Ryan, her beloved grandchildren; James, Charles, Michael, and William and her very special grand dog, Jackson. She leaves behind her sister, Pat Sayce, along with many nieces and nephews, extended relatives and a wide circle of friends. A celebration of life will be planned in Massachusetts and Florida so that she can be honored by all the friends and family who loved her. Dates and locations to be determined.
