Age 91 passed away on July 9, 2017 in Greenacres, FL. Ruth was originally from Troy, MI and lived in West Palm Beach, FL for 30 years. She was predeceased by her husbands, Arthur G. Mattson and Joseph L. Price, Sr., her son, Joseph L Price, Jr and daughter-in-law, Laura E. Price. She was a proud member of the Red Hats and Eastern Star. She knitted hats for our servicemen & women and also for newborns at Good Samaritan Hospital. Ruth loved & raised many show cats bringing 9 with her to Florida. She will be lovingly remembered by her family & many friends & neighbors. Thanks to Brookdale-Haverhill & TrustBridge Hospice for the wonderful care they have provided. Those who wish may make contributions in her name to the Humane Society or American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the Community Christian Church, 521 Jog Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33415.
