Rovina Victoria Deal Wright
Age 84, of Boynton Beach transitioned peacefully to Glory Land on May 15, 2015. Rovina graduated in 1951 from Carver High School. Blessed to become an octogenarian, Rovina was esteemed as a phenomenal wife of nearly 61 years, a nurturing and loving mother, and a virtuous woman. A native of Boynton Beach, she was a member of the Boynton Beach Church of God for 70 years. Rovina will be remembered as an industrious woman. After a 30-year tenure with A. G. Holley Tuberculosis Hospital, she retired in 1986. A pillar in her household, her children and grandchildren, as well as her late husband Samuel L. Wright, called her blessed because of the manner in which she lived and cared for them all. She is survived by three daughters, Lolita Bush, Veoletta and Ramona Wright of Boynton Beach; son, Dr. Samuel Lamar Wright, Sr. of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren, Horace Bush, Eldridge Bush of Union City, GA, Tamika (William) Kramer, Samuel Lamar, Jr. and Samaria Wright of Tampa, FL; nine great grandchildren; three brothers, Leroy, Arnold and James Deal; two sisters, Edith (Bertram) Smith and Miriam Couch (NY), three sisters-in-law, Irma and Mathalene Deal, and Helen Wright. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 23,2015, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Boynton Beach Church of God--The House of Kingdom Worship, 135 NE 7th Avenue, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Homegoing Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., following the visitation. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to: Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, Boynton Beach, FL.
