Ronald Douglas Maass, 76, of Boynton Beach, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in his residence. He was born August 16, 1948 in Rochester, New York, a son of Harold and Julia Maass. He grew up in Pittsford, NY through through early adulthood before traveling throughout the Unites States, landing in California and starting his family. Years later, he moved back to Rochester to be closer to family and friends, ultimately moving to Florida to be with his son and his family, enjoying the beautiful weather that he loved so much. He loved baseball (Yankees), fishing, great music, fast cars, and cracking the best jokes. He worked in the plastics industry for most of his professional career, with Commercial Plastics, and retired as General Manager for G.E. Plastics.
He is survived by his son, Brian Maass; daughter-in-law, Darlene Maass; grandsons, Carter and Braxton Maass; a brother, Robert Maass; cousin, Richard Privitera, and his long-time friend, Alice Acker.
