Age 90 of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly of Massillon, Ohio passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 in Florida. Bob was born August 9, 1928 in Massillon, Ohio to the late Leo and Stella Christman Yost.
Bob began his career working at his father’s filling station. As an entrepreneur at heart, Bob had numerous business interests to include Bob Yost Tire Mart, Canton Rubber Corp. finishing his career as a Realtor and real estate investor and as an inventor including inventing The Danny Ladder Ramp. Bob was an avid tennis player and rode his bicycle daily even up until the day he passed. He also was a creative landscaper, an extremely hard worker and a hands on type of man.
Bob is survived by his six children and their spouses, Cindy and husband Steve Nash, Sandy and husband John DeMarsh, Anne and husband Ron Horton, Bob Yost and wife Melissa, Bill Yost and wife Carol, Tim Yost and wife Laura; 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lou Eberly and the mother of his children, Nona Keith Mitchell.
