Robert Shulman Profile Photo
Our beloved Robert Jay Shulman (Bob), 51, of Boynton Beach, Florida, tragically passed away on April 29th, 2021.

Bob leaves behind two loving children, Robin (3), Samson (11) and his devoted wife Rebecca. He is also lovingly remembered by his mother Ellie Shulman, sister Jackie Shulman Bedle, and brothers, Richie Shulman and Steve Shulman who mourn his loss. His nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews adored him and will forever cherish joyful memories of him.

Bob was born on September 15, 1969 to Ellie and Barry Shulman in Brooklyn, New York. Bob loved animals from the time he was young. He worked with his parents in the family pet store in New Jersey, where he spent much of his childhood. He loved his dogs, Lexi and Pluto, and numerous other pets over the years.

Bob eventually relocated to South Florida where he made a life for himself in the Sunshine State. Bob was a man who was good with his hands; he had a talent for woodworking and he could fix almost anything, with a preference for RC cars. In these last years, he worked as a mechanic for specialized machinery in hospitals and groceries stores. This work was especially important throughout the pandemic.

Bob loved his family above all else, but a close second was the music. Bob’s connection to music ran deep and made up a large part of who he was. Warren Haynes, the Grateful Dead, Keller Williams and Deep Banana Blackout were just a few of his favorites; there are far too many to mention here. Bob would want us all to find light in music during this difficult time.

Bob’s happy place was dancing at a festival in the sun with a huge smile on his face. Bob, aka the Hebrew Hammer, made fast friends with everyone who saw that smile.

Bob was an extremely loving father and husband, a generous and kind spirit and he is deeply missed and dearly loved.
