Robert John Petchner
May 26, 1942 — June 14, 2018
Robert John “Petch” Petchner, 76 of Delray Beach, FL passed away June 14th 2018 after a battle with cancer.
Petch proudly served his country in the Navy as an electrician with the Fighter Squadron 102 at NAS Oceana Virginia from 1961-65. After retiring as a mechanic for Ford, he started the Florida 8 Ball League which he ran for over 20 years. Petch will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.
He is survived by his mother Alice Petchner (Delray Beach, FL), daughter Deborah Petchner Buchanan (Fairfax, Va), son Shawn Petchner (Lake Worth, FL), grandchildren Victoria Corder (Denver, CO) Devon Petchner (West Palm Beach, Fl) Destiny Petchner (Hobe Sound, FL) Zachary Buchanan (Fairfax, VA) Bridgette Buchanan (Fairfax, VA) and Annika Petchner (Lake Worth, FL), great grandchildren Zoriada Corder (Denver, CO) and Orion Corder (Denver, CO).
His Celebration of Life will be held at The Last Resort, 3205 S Federal Hwy # 6, Delray Beach, FL 33483 on Saturday June 23rd 2018 at 5PM.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made the VA Hospice in Riviera Beach.
