Robert Thomas Greenwood, age 91, of Boynton Beach, Fl, passed from us peacefully at home on February 22, 2023.
Born February 23, 1932, in Gardner, Massachusetts, to Harold and Ruth Greenwood. Bob moved to and raised his family in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Bob worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance for 30 years as an Insurance Agent. Bob served in the United States Air Force as a Captain until 1972.
Bob was beloved by all who met him. He was a wonderful husband, amazing father and a very involved grandparent to his 4 grandchildren. Bob enjoyed visiting with family and friends, his glass of Famous Grouse Scotch and lively conversations regarding world events and sports. Bob, “Pop”, always had a listening ear for his sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. He was supportive in all ways possible. He was a die-hard Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching college and professional football.
Bob will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Patricia, of 61 years, his sons; Robert Greenwood (Judy), William Greenwood (Lisa); grandchildren; Daniel Greenwood, Paige Hill (husband, Melique Hill), Laura Greenwood (fiancée, Nick Lemar) and Jamie Greenwood (fiancée, Alec Larue); his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law and many nieces and nephew. Bob was predeceased by his parents, brother, sister, many family members and friends.
“If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever.”
