Emblem

It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the peaceful passing of Robert "Bob" Morrison on June 10, 2026, at his home.

Born on July 14, 1938, Bob was 87 years old, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many.

He leaves his beloved children, son Tony (Ruth), daughter Angelique (Lloyd). Bob was the proud grandfather of four grandchildren: Robert, Katherine, Andrew, and Matthew, who brought immense joy to his life. His legacy also lives on through his brother Mark (Dorothy), brother-in-law, Dennis, and numerous nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1960, Bob served his country with honor as an officer in the U.S. Army. His commitment to duty and service was a defining aspect of his character, and it remained with him throughout his life. Bob's professional journey was marked by innovation and leadership. He held executive positions with several esteemed American firearms brands, including Smith & Wesson, Colt, U.S. Repeating Arms, Bianchi Holsters, and ultimately, as the President and CEO of Taurus USA. His passion for preserving 2nd Amendment rights was evident in his work with the NRA and as a board member for the NSSF and the South Florida BSA. An avid outdoorsman and competitive skeet shooting enthusiast, Bob found peace in nature and thrill in competition. His many championships were a testament to his skill and passion for the sport.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the VA hospital of Palm Beach for their exceptional care and a very special thanks to his devoted caregiver, Paulette Jumi, whose compassionate service provided comfort in his final days.
