Robert G. "Bob" Gordon

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Morrison, a prominent figure whose career spanned more 50 years in the shooting sports industry. He died June 10, 2026. After graduating from West Point and his distinguished service as an officer in the U.S. Army, Bob brought his talents, focus, and product innovations to the executive positions he held with several major American firearms brands, including Smith & Wesson, Colt, U.S. Repeating Arms, Bianchi Holsters, and up through his retirement as President and CEO of Taurus USA. Bob dedicated his efforts to preserving our 2nd Amendment rights by developing membership initiatives with the NRA as well as his service as a board member with the NSSF, the South Florida BSA, and other commercial entities. A Formal obituary is being prepared. A Visitation and funeral mass will held in July, with burial following at South Florida National Cemetery. Dates and times will be posted once confirmed.
