ROBERT LEROY EICHORST
Age 80 of Lake Worth passed away Feb. 23, 2017. Bob came to Boynton Beach in 1972 from Illinois. He went to work for the City of Boynton Beach in 1973 and retired in 1997 as Director of Public Works. Bob was a big NASCAR fan and enjoyed following the Detroit Tigers baseball team. He was active for many years in the city golf league.
Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pamela Eichorst; 2 sons, Robin (Maggie) Eichorst, Russell (Carla) Eichorst; grandson, Ryan (Mary) Eichorst; granddaughter, Amanda Eichorst and great grandson, River.
A Gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Ave., Boynton Beach. The Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL (Lane #5).
