Our dearest Bob, Dad, Grampa died on Sunday, June 24, 2018 surrounded by his beloved family. Bob was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1946 to Douglas and Barbara (Grant) Stratton. He was a 1963 graduate of Taunton High School and served his country as part of the Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. Bob moved his family to Lantana, Florida in the fall of 1983. Throughout his life Bob loved to hunt, fish, camp, play cribbage, play golf, and enjoyed watching television more than anyone in history. Some of his most favorite past times were to drink coffee from Dunkin Donuts at the Boynton Inlet with his wife and to spend time with his kids and grandsons.
Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carol; his daughter and son-in-law, Debi & Barry Peacock; his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff & Cindy Stratton; and his two grandsons Levi Stratton and Lane Stratton. Bob is also survived by his sister Nancy Galuski; his sister and brother-in-law Joanne & John DeAndrade; his brother and sister-in-law Mark & Mary Stratton, his sister Audrey Corcoran; his sister-in-law Patty Stratton; his sister-in-law Judy Copley; his Aunts Audrey Perry (Tom), Joanne Furey, and Linda Reid (Steve). Bob also leaves behind five nieces, five nephews, and many grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, and friends.
Bob was predeceased by his parents, Barbara and Douglas Stratton, Mother-in-law Elizabeth Copley, brother Brian Stratton and niece Paula Galuski.
