ROBERT E. ?Bob? MILLER 94 of Palm Beach Gardens, formerly of Boynton Beach, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013. Bob was born April 5, 1919 in Normal, Illinois and on December 6, 1942 he married Nan E. Sudbrink of Virginia, Illinois. They were married for 70 years. During WWII, Bob spent 4 years with the 9th Air Force as a pilot in England and France. He and Nan moved to Boynton Beach in 1953. When Boynton Beach started postal carrier service in 1955 he became their first carrier, retiring in 1979. Bob was Past Master of Boynton Lodge #236, F. & A.M.; Past Patron of Boynton Chapter #238, O.E.S.; a KCCH member of Lake Worth Scottish Rite and member of Amara Shrine Temple Flying Fezzes. He is survived by his wife, Nan; two daughters, Susan Grindle of Bangor, Maine and Joyce Ann (Bill) Bosscher of Pinetta, Florida; and son, Dan E. (Carol) Miller of Jupiter, Florida; three granddaughters, Judy (John) Waters, great-granddaughter Emily, Lynn (Ron) Bartlow, great-grandson William, great-granddaughter Katherine of Queen Creek, Arizona and Amy (Brian) Snowhill of Altamonte Springs, Florida. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach.
