Richard (Dick) Malafa, 77 years old and living in Boynton Beach, Fla, passed to eternal life July 7th 2022.

He was born on January 19th, 1945 at St. Michaels Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Richards’s family moved to Keewatin Minnesota when he was a young boy. He played the trombone

In school, played basketball, football, was class president, on the student counsel…..enjoyed High

School and his many friends, and voted Best Dressed.

He graduated from Winona State University in Business Administration and Economics, and

Worked for a dye casting manufacturing company in St. Paul Minnesota as Inventory Control

and Shipping Manager.

He was transferred to South Florida in 1972 to work for the So Florida Division. Shortly

thereafter, he attained his Real Estate Broker license, and managed a Century 21 office.

One of his favorite past times was watching car racing, and he did purchase a Formula Ford MK20A

Merlyn, made in England. He raced as an amateur, and even the children were cheering their

Dad.

He is survived by his wife Linda of 52 years married, a daughter Brandee Trevino and son in law John

Trevino, granddaughter Sedona Trevino and son Eric & Heather Malafa, Sister Cheryl Marinucci, and

Brother Don Malafa, wife Sue Malafa.

He is predeceased by parents Stanley and Dorothy (Hennessey ) Malafa and brother in law Tom Marinucci.

A Celebration of Life will take place Sat. August the 6th at 11:00 at Ascension Lutheran Church located at

2929 South Seacrest Blvd, Boynton Beach with burial of ashes in the Memorial Garden at the church.
