RAYMOND ALBERT LOPEZ

Raymond Albert Lopez, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, grew up in a musical family, learning to play the piano alongside his two brothers and sister. In addition to his service to the United States as a Private in the U.S. Air Force, Raymond worked as a pressman for several New York newspapers. He also shared his musical talent as a piano player in fine-dining establishments throughout New York and Palm Beach County, Florida.

During his time in the Air Force, Raymond earned the Korean Service, United Nations Service, and National Defense Service Medals, and was stationed in Japan during the Korean War.

Raymond is the father of Raymond Lopez Jr., and the cherished stepfather of Patricia Tsagaris, Kathleen Doherty-Falk, and Linda Doherty. He was predeceased by his brothers, Billy and Charles.

Raymond was a loving and devoted husband to the late Maureen Lopez for more than 40 years. Together, they shared a deep love for the culinary arts and music—passions that enriched their life together and the lives of those around them.

He will be missed by all who knew him, including his sister and brother-in-law, Serafina (Sara) and James Beckling of Staten Island.
