Raphael D. Oliver Profile Photo
Raphael Oliver was born on August 24, 1930, to Dario Diaz and Estebania Olivares, in Dominican Republic. He made the United States his home in the 1960s.

Raphael graduated from college after obtaining his Bachelor’s and proudly served the US Navy as a contract Engineer. After his contract was over, he settled in New York and began working as an Engineer for a private company. Raphael’s job relocated him and his wife, Carmen, to Florida in the early 1990s. While Raphael worked until his late 70s, his legacy is defined by the values he embodied in his personal life.

Raphael consistently embodied unequivocal determination, unimaginable strength, and unconditional love toward those that surrounded. He had three sons and a daughter: Raphael, Carlos, Antonio, and Eunice. Just when he thought he was done raising kids, four of his grandchildren moved in. He raised said grandchildren for the last 23 years. Those grandchildren consider him their dad. His legacy will live on through his children, his grandchildren, and everyone whose life he touched.

He is dearly missed and survived by his wife Carmen, his children, Raphael, Carlos, Antonio, and Eunice. As well as, his grandchildren, Ercilia, Antonio, Elizabeth, Ellis, Arlene, Ariana, Raphael, Katie, Jonathan, Isabella, Karen, and Bianca.
