In Loving Memory of a Cherished Soul Born on October 1st, 1931, and called home on February 11th, 2025, Pierre Deralus (Joleme) lived a life rich with love, faith, and joy. A devoted son of Hera Deralus and Charite Israel, he carried their legacy with pride and grace. As a loving husband to Tanise Deralus, he built a home filled with warmth and laughter. A proud father, he nurtured and guided Saintana Deralus, Saintano Deralus, Jean Baptise, Vitana Cherubin, Andouze Deralus, Jorel Deralus, Olegat Benjamin and Buvard Cherubin with unwavering love and wisdom. His devotion extended to his grandchildren—Bernide Hyppolite, Kesta Williams, Jezan Deralus, Andy Deralus, Romielson Joseph, Jerrod Cherubin, Byron Cherubin, Darrell Joseph, Brandon Deralus, Naijaylah Bea Cherubin, and Antwan Williams—each of whom carries a piece of his spirit forward. His love continued through the generations as he cherished his great-grandchildren: A’Dream Soul Williams, A’Journi Kai Williams, A’O Kamaal Williams, Keyz, and Tiger. He was a man of deep faith, always praying and trusting in God’s grace. His presence radiated joy—funny, outgoing, and forever uplifting those around him. To know him was to know laughter, kindness, and unwavering love. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, family, and resilience, a life well-lived and a heart that touched many. Though he has departed from this world, his love and spirit remain with us, guiding us step by step, just as he always did.
