Age 89 of Uniontown, Ohio, beloved sister, aunt and friend passed away April 7, 2018. Born in Akron, Ohio on January 13, 1929, she was the daughter of the late William and Winifred Hosking. Phyllis graduated from South High School in Akron and went on to work for Wright Tool & Forge for 44 years. Phyllis attended Friendship Bible Church in Randolph, Ohio. She was a lifelong bowler and member of the Ohio Women's Bowling Association/Ohio USBC, and was inducted in the Women's Bowling Hall of Fame for her great accomplishments.
Brothers, William and James Hosking preceded her in death. Her best friend, Diane Spangler and family, along with her sister Carolyn Clark and nieces Cheryl (Brian) Cusimano, Christine (Bob) Churey, Jamie (Jeff) Wittenberg and Kimberly (Charles) Henderson, survive Phyllis. A memorial service will be held later in Ohio. Her family and friends will truly miss their lively and loving Phyllidi!
