Peter Taormina

PETER F. TAORMINA Age 84 of Boynton Beach passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013. He was a detective with the New York City Police Dept. for 25 years, served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict with the 92nd A.F.A. Battalion ?Red Devils?, Past Post Commander of the VFW Post 5335 and was involved with various other veterans? organizations. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Catherine; 2 nephews, Joseph & Richard and 2 nieces, Laura & Donna. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 643 St. Mark Place, Boynton Beach followed by a committal service and full military honors at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
