Paul Keene

Paul A. Keene, Sr. age 79, of Lantana, died peacefully at home January 14, 2013. Paul is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ellen, and his four children, Sherri, Paul Jr. (Ellen), Joel (Laurie), and Travis (Rachel). Paul also has seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Janice and brother, Glenn, both of North Carolina; three nieces and a nephew. He was born and raised in southwest Virginia and came to Lantana in 1958. He served proudly in the U.S. Navy and retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. He was the best hearted man ever; always kind, generous and patient. He raised his family with a strong hand, a quiet tongue and a gentle heart. He was truly loved and will be sorely missed. Family will receive friends for a Celebration of Paul's life on Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00pm at Atlantis Country Club, 190 Atlantis Blvd., Atlantis, Florida.
