Paul was the eldest of three children born January 17, 1970 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey to Paul V. Hyland Sr. and the late Kathleen Bracken Hyland. His mother, Kathleen brought Paul into the world and while she was alive, worried and thought of his safety and happiness as she did for his sister, Violet and his brother, Michael. The three siblings were very loving and protective of each other. When they were children, Paul always tried to set an example for his younger siblings. He was an average kid and did the usual pranks and he had a good sense of humor. He loved fishing and would often times be seen at the Lake Worth Pier fishing and enjoying the day. Paul was a Wire Latherer on both new and existing construction and he enjoyed it.
Paul is survived by his son, Devlin; his father, Paul Sr.; sister, Violet Brannon; brother, Michael; his wife of 12 years, Kelly Ann Hyland (now separated); 3 maternal uncles, Michael Bracken, Mark Bracken and Kyle Bracken; and his cousin, Cynthia Jones.
As expected we are all heartbroken and reflective about his tragic death and will continue to be for some time to come. Our prayers are with Kelly and her family and all the family members. He will be missed by all, we all loved him and wished him the best in life and we will look forward to the day our Lord Jesus Christ reunites us as he has promised. With love, respect and understanding, fare well Paulie. Until we meet again, may God take you in His arms and into His mansion.
