Pamela Ann Boalt was born April 7, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York to Paul and Ella Krug. She passed away peacefully in Delray Beach, Florida on July 8, 2023 surrounded by her family. Pam is survived by her beloved and loving family, Bill (wife Natalie), Tom, Karen; Kim LaScala White (deceased), sister Karen Krug (spouse Liz), brother Paul Krug (wife Jackie), Sister, Sueanne Miller, brother John Krug (wife Cricket), sister Judy McLean (husband Craig), brother Peter Krug (wife Donna) and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pam and previous husband, Russ LaScala, married and first lived in Bronxville, New York. Due to his business with TWA, they moved to Ethiopia for three years, then stateside at Candlewood Isle, Connecticut then were off to live in Thailand and ultimately relocated to Delray Beach, Florida where Pam remained the rest of her life. She was a devout Catholic attending St. Vincent Ferrer Church where all four children attended elementary school
Pam married Ralph G. Boalt and they established a host of friends and adopted the best dogs over their years together: Gigi, Augie and Beau. She enjoyed entertaining, preparing gourmet dinners for family and friends for all occasions. Pam loved to tell stories about family and friends, her escapades with Karen (KK) and other family members and friends, Eddie and Judy. While living in Thailand, she learned Thai and also was a tour guide at the Jim Thompson House-now a museum. Pam started a home business selling Carlisle clothing, a brand of elegance classic clothing for women. For years she volunteered with the Delray Beach Historical Society Annual Antique Show and more recently with the CROS Ministries food kitchen serving meals to those in need along with son Bill. Pam had a heart of gold. She was completely devoted to her children, grandchildren, life long friends and anyone and everyone she met along the way. Pam had an engaging, magnetic personality so she was always surrounded by people. People made her happy! The last 10 years of her life she suffered from Alzheimer’s.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, 599 N.E. 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday, July 14, 2023 with a reception following at the Clubhouse at Country Greens at Westchester, 12467 Shady Greens Road, Boynton Beach 33437, directions: Golf Rd. to Military Trail, south to Pipers Glen-turn right; drive ¼ mile and turn left into Country Greens, follow entry road to clubhouse. A Mass will be held at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33483 at 11 AM on Saturday, July 15, 2023. All are welcome. Donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Research in memory of Pamela Ann Boalt.
