He is survived by his wife, Barbara Newport; daughters, Debbie Hixon & her son Lewis Hixon, Lissette Newport and Cathy Newport; sons, Eion Newport, Gavin Newport and Brian Newport; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Errol Newport, Roger Newport & Virgil Newport; sister, Kathryn Newport; cousins, Claudette Jack, Norma Brown, Roy Newport, Dennis Newport & Ruby Newport; brothers-in-law, William Archer, Allen Archer, Michael Archer & Clement Archer and sister-in-law, Rita Archer.
Friends will be received from 3-4 PM followed by a funeral service at 4 PM on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach.
