NORMAN W. STRUNKS, SR.
age 88 of Boynton Beach, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio , passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at his residence. Norman was born August 7, 1925 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late Arthur and Martha Strunks. He retired from the Fisher Body Division of General Motors after 37 years.
Norman was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Rita in 2011. He was also preceded in death by their 3 sons, Norman W. Strunks Jr., Arthur W. Strunks and Anthony W. Strunks.
Norman is survived by his 3 children, Jan M. Johnson, Brent C. Strunks and Johanna M. Strunks; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Sauer; 2 sisters-in-law, Rosie Scully and Gilda Jacob.
Friends will be received for a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10:00 AM until Service time at 11:00 AM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach with Dr. Walter Buzwell McNutt of First Baptist Church of Boynton Beach officiating.
