Norman L. Darrell Sr.
Age 56 of Boynton Beach passed away on Tuesday June 4th, 2019.
Norman was born in Kingston, New York to Harry and Mary Darrell and was raised in Boynton Beach, Florida.
Norman was a hard worker who always kept busy doing mechanical work, helping his brother and family with home repairs and assisting friends or even strangers who were in need of a helping hand. Norman was always willing to help someone in need because he just could not say no.
Norman’s favorite meal was fried fish, hush puppies and grits. Norman loved fishing, cooking out on the BBQ and spending time with family. Norman’s favorite holiday was Christmas as he loved to see the expression on the kids face when opening presents.
And of course Norman had to have his coffee every morning to help get him going, a habit that he picked up from his mom and that became their morning routine.
Norman is survived by his son, Norman L. Darrell, Jr. his brother & sister, Christopher T. (Cheryle P.) Darrell, Nancy (Norman) Surber, his grandsons Kaiden Stewart and Giovanni Darrell and his God Daughter Ernestine Dimanche.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Darrell, his mother, Mary Shaw, his daughter Tywanna Darrell.
A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at 11:00 am at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of US Hwy. #1 & NE 15th Avenue, Boynton Beach.
