Nicholas Raymond Paquette, Age 23 of Boynton Beach passed away Friday, March 14, 2014. He was born in San Antonio, TX on February 22, 1991. He was a graduate of Santaluces Community High School in Lantana, FL. He was currently a student at FAU in Boca Raton, while working at Dermatology Associates of the Palm Beaches. He was known as Sensei Nick at East West Okinawan Karate dojo, where he achieved black belt status and helped to train newer students. Nick was such a blessing to all those who have had the pleasure of knowing him. You knew his love was genuine; you could see it in his smile and feel it with every hug he gave you. He was a loyal and kind-hearted friend, with a witty sense of humor and a passion for cars. He could make you laugh, even on your worst day. He gave of himself and never asked for anything in return. He will truly be missed but never forgotten. Because of Nick's gift of organ donation, our family received word that several other lives were saved this week.
He is survived by his loving mother & stepfather, Lori Paquette & Mark Wilson; 2 sisters, Lindsey and her husband, John Ripley & Holly Paquette; niece, Mckenna Ripley; maternal grandmother, Laurel Tuman; paternal grandparents, Raymond & Catherine Paquette; uncle and aunt Edward and Molly Tuman; stepsister, Paige Wilson and stepbrother, Michael Wilson. He also leaves behind the girl he loved, Sara Ranta, as well as many, many friends.
Nicholas’ beloved grandfather, Edward Tuman, passed away ten days earlier on March 4. Ed was like a father to Nick and his two granddaughters, and his passing truly devastated Nick. The two shared a very special bond. We know they are happy to be reunited in Heaven. The celebration of both of their lives will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Seacrest Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Seacrest Presbyterian Church, 2703 North Seacrest Blvd., Delray Beach, FL 33444 in Nicholas’s memory.
