Nancy Ann Jenkins (Pabsch – Lutzy), 77 Years young of Lake Worth, Fl moved on to Heaven’s Dance Floor on Friday September 10 , 2021.

She was born in Solvay, NY on July 29, 1944.

She was first married to her high school sweetheart Roger Lutzy and graduated from State University of New York at Fredonia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She spent her early years teaching elementary school, before stepping into her motherhood role. The family moved to Boynton Beach, FL in 1980, where Nancy established and operated the preschool at her church, as well as teaching Sunday School.

Following a divorce in the late 1980’s, she established and operated her own business, Nancy’s Pool Service (with a vast, highly satisfied clientele). During this time, she found her love of dance, while participating in “Parents without Partners”.

She began her line dance teaching career at Rhinestones Nightclub in Royal Palm Beach, which led her to sell her pool service business in order to start her next venture. She opened her own Restaurant/Nightclub, Rodeo Rock in 1999. It was here where she met her “to be” second husband, Jim Jenkins. Due to economic changes Rodeo Rock closed in late 2000.

Not to be stopped, she helped open a brand new Super Walmart in Boynton Beach, where she guided their toy department for many years before choosing to retire. During this same period she was continuing her Line Dance classes, first in the Palm Beach Co. Night School programs, and then returning to her favorite venue, Renegades, in West Palm Beach. She became the Lead Instructor at Renegades in 2006 where she continued on as the “Life Blood” of the nightclub.

In addition to her dance career, she helped her daughter establish/operate a Breakfast & Lunch Diner: “Griddle Girlz” in Boynton Beach. Unfortunately the Covid19 pandemic took it’s toll on this business and they closed after 4 wonderful years in October 2020.

Throughout all of her ventures, she left a beautiful life changing impact on almost every person she met. She introduced hundreds, maybe thousands to the love of dance, and in many cases introduced soul mates through the process, with several going on to long marriages and bringing families of 2nd and 3rd generations along that also came to love “Miss Nancy”. She truly was one of God’s angels living right here with us.
