Michele Frances (Coultrip) Mauro, 79 formerly of Marcy, NY, passed away in Boynton Beach, FL on October 8, peacefully with the love and support of her family.
Born February 11,1945 in Utica NY, to Stuart and Mary (Lesczynski) Coultrip, and a graduate of Whitesboro High School, Michele married Salvatore on July 1, 1967. They spent nearly 50 years nurturing the community through their passion for hair, co-managing Salvatore's Uptown Coiffures. Michele’s chair was not just a place for hairdressing but a sanctuary where hearts were heard and spirits uplifted.
Michele dedicated her life to the success and happiness of her children. Her cooking was the heart of her home, weaving love into every dish she prepared. Her meals were more than food; they were a gathering force that brought her family together, filling the house with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories. Her essence was reflected in her gentle care of her Dachshunds, Champ and Bandit, and her insatiable love for books and films. She had a soul drawn to the wonders of the world, always returning to her cherished haven—Aruba.
Michele was predeceased by her sisters Linda Kwiatkowski and Alix Kidder. Michele is survived by her husband, Salvatore, of 57 years; her loving children, Dena of Clinton NY, Salvatore (Jeannine) of Victor NY, Steven (Nicole) of Roswell GA, and Antonio of Virginia Beach VA; grandchildren Rylee Calidonna, Alec Meelan, Victoria, Josh, Chase and Max Mauro, Joseph, Noelle and Tessa Mauro, and Gisella and Giovanni Mauro, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Our Dolly will be forever loved and missed.
