MAYMEE OLEAN DUDLEY

age 96 of Ocala, Florida, formerly of Boynton Beach, passed away at her home on January 7, 2021.

She was affectionately known as Aunt Lean, Aunt Olean, Auntie and God’s Angel on Earth.

Auntie was born October 28, 1924 in Allenhurst, Georgia to the late Myles Franklin Dudley and Maymee Lucille Dudley.
She was the Valedictorian of St. Cloud High School, Class of 1942. In 1953 she moved to Boynton Beach and retired from the United States Postal Service after serving many years in the Boynton Beach Post Office. In 2002, Auntie relocated to Ocala where she spent the rest of her life.

Auntie had a lifetime dedication of service to Children’s Ministries and to serving the Lord. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Boynton Beach.

Auntie enjoyed reading mystery and detective novels, watching old movies and musicals, baking candies, cookies and sweet treats.

In addition to her parents, Auntie was preceded in death by her brother, Myles Franklin Dudley Jr. and her nephew, Michael Craig Dudley.
She is survived by her nephew, Myles Gary Dudley and his wife, Sharon; her niece, Cynthia Lee Dudley; great nieces and nephews, Sherri Dilauro, Jennifer Newburn, Joseph List, Myles Dudley, Christopher Dudley, Ryan Dudley and Preston Dudley; and many great-great nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Boynton Beach Memorial Park.
