MaryAnn Snider, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2016, at 88 years of age. Daughter of the late Colonel Carl L. Peterson and Olive Ann Barnes-Peterson. Faithful wife of the late William “Bill” Snider and loving mother of the late Susan Snider-Atkinson. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lynn Lentz, her son William Snider, Jr. and his wife Monica Snider, her grandchildren, Derek Atkinson and wife Heather Greathouse-Atkinson, Elise Atkinson-Siegel and her husband Alan Siegel, Alex Atkinson, Samantha Lentz, Kirsten Lentz, Bobby Lentz, and Daniel Snider, and great-grandaughter Amelia Atkinson.
A service will be held for her on Saturday April 2nd at St.Joseph’s Episcopal Church in Boynton Beach, FL at 11am. We ask that those who attend wear red, which was her favorite color. Her burial will follow on Monday, April 4th, at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth FL, at 10:30am, where she will be laid to rest alongside of her husband Sgt. William Snider.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Children’s Home Society, chsfl.org.
