September 26, 1933 – May 15, 2018
Mary B. Solomon of Vero Beach, Fl. passed away on May 15th in West Palm Beach, FL. She was 84 years old. Born in Yonkers, New York, she and her late husband Kenneth R. Solomon lived for over 20 years in Fort Lauderdale, Fl. After retiring, they resided in both Vero Beach and Sag Harbor, N.Y.
Warm, generous and inspiring, Mary was a loving daughter, a supportive wife, a caring mother and a loyal friend. In addition to tennis, travel, golden retrievers and music, she loved people. Mary volunteered at the Hibiscus Children’s Center, the Treasure Coast Opera Society and the Vero Beach Museum of Art.
She is survived by her daughter Laura Becker, her sons Kenneth and Thomas Solomon and her daughter in law Claudia Silva-Solomon. She also leaves behind her brothers, John and Robert Brennan and her sister Eileen Masterson.
A private service was held in Vero Beach. A celebration of her life with her family and friends will be held in the coming months in the greater New York area.
