Pat Ramseyer, age 94, passed away to return Home on Saturday, August 6th, at Bethesda Memorial Hospital East with her family by her side. Pat was born on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th, 1928 in Manheim, West Virginia to the late Harold E. & Ethel McCarty Lenker. Pat moved to West Palm from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in her early twenties and worked as a legal secretary in Palm Beach, and later as a court reporter for the City of Boynton Beach, where she earned the Mayor’s Award in 1984.
Pat loved her church and Sunday School class at the First United Methodist Church in Boynton Beach. She kept in touch with those who were housebound. She composed and read aloud beautiful prayers to her family and Sunday School class. When younger, she transported children and teenagers to church and became an important part of their lives. Pat loved to dance and attend gatherings at the Leisureville Community Clubhouse, the Senior Center, and was still meeting with her singles group once a month for luncheons. Her laughter was contagious, and she was beloved in her community.
Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Ramseyer, a navy veteran, and stepson John Ramseyer, an army veteran. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara L. Kennedy, Margaret Odom, and her brother James Lenker an army veteran. The three sisters lived together during the later years of their lives.

Stepson James Ramseyer, and his wife Brenda and children and grandchildren. Nephews: John S Kennedy, and his wife Beth and children; and David Lenker. Nieces: Judith Kennedy, and husband Glen; Karen Brewer, and husband Kevin and children; Kathleen Watson and her children and grandchildren who were Pat’s joy.
