MARY LOU NEVAD
passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends, Saturday, December 19th. Mary Lou was born in Plainfield, New Jersey to Catherine and George Holleran. It was there she met the love of her life, Dick (preceded in death). They married in 1954 and moved to Boynton Beach. Mary Lou was an active member of Saint Marks Catholic Church where she volunteered during her children's' school years. A benevolent lady, Mary Lou always gave of her time. She was happy to knit for the new born babies at Bethesda Memorial Hospital. While in Blairsville, Georgia, their summer home, Mary Lou volunteered at the local nursing home. Mary Lou was also preceded in death by her daughter Eileen.
Mary Lou is survived by her children and their families; Rick & Cathy Nevad, grandchildren Abby, Matthew and Sarah, and great grandson Tyler; Jackie & Tom McGlinnen, grandchildren Tommy & Erin, great grandchildren Patrick, Emily, Lilly, Finley; Charles & Bridgette Struthers, great grandchildren Charlette & Jillian; Roy & Susie Alvarez, grandchildren Amy & Nestor Marante and Roy Jr.; Warren & Suki Nevad, granddaughter Hillary; Kenneth & Cher Nevad, grandchildren Christian, Madisyn, and Ciara; Brothers and their wives, Jack & Marilyn Holleran, Paul & Barbara Ann Holleran and loving nieces and nephews.
We will honor the life of Mary Lou on Tuesday, December 22nd at Saint Marks Catholic Church in Boynton Beach at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, we are asking all to celebrate the amazing life of ML by preforming a "Random Act of Kindness" and share in her belief that there will be PEACE ON EARTH.
