Mary Charlene Littlejohn Bradford Kenyon, known affectionately to her family and friends as "Bluey", was born on January 28, 1931 in Batavia, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025 in Boynton Beach. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

Bluey was first married to Herbert Laverne "Red" Bradford who enlisted in the United States Army. He was killed in combat, in Korea, on October 4, 1951, and she became a Gold Star Wife. Her second marriage was to Douglas R. Kenyon, an Army Veteran, who predeceased her on October 10, 1993. From that Union four children were born; Debbie (John) Palazzo, Denise (Edward) Crumm, Scott Kenyon, and Pam Kenyon. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

During her "working years", Bluey was a proud Homemaker. She also was the Bookkeeper for her husband's business, Doug Kenyon, Inc. She was a Cub Scout Leader; Girl Scout Leader, and a Service Unit Manager for the Palm Glades Girl Scout Council. She was also "Student of the Year" in 1990 at South Technical Education Center.

After retirement she enjoyed sewing lap quilts with the Boynton Beach Leisureville sewing group for thirty years which provided them for Nursing Home residents. Her other interests included needle work, reading, and travelling. She was fortunate enough to have been able to visit every state except Alaska and Washington. She also traveled to Mexico, Canada, and the Bahamas.

Bluey had a great sense of humor. She was smart, independent, loved her family and animals, and was a tough cookie! She is loved and will be missed.

A private graveside service will be held at the Boynton Beach Memorial Park Cemetery,

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Bluey's name to the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, or a Rescue League of your choice.
