Age 84, of West Palm Beach, Florida, formerly of Lake Choctaw and London, Ohio passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 in West Palm Beach, Florida. She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and retired from both Highlights for Children and Westinghouse Electric.
Martha was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Lind, her parents, Dollie and George Dzodan, brother, Brud (George) Dzodan and her sisters, Susan Raine and Garnet (Holly) Darst.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie Barattini and Jacquelynn “Jackie” (Lind) Smalley; son, Larry Budd; 2 grandsons, John James David Barattini and John James Michael Barattini; Nieces and Nephews, Janet (David) Sher, Norma (Cedric) Emery, Linda (Larry) Gollihue, Butch (Earl)Scarberry, Brenda Cossin, Mary Scarberry, Sherry (Dennis) Lanum, John Dzodan, Penny Dzodan and several great nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Larry Raine.
Friends will be received on Monday, April 14, 2014 from 2-4 PM at Scobee-Combs-Bowden Funeral Home, corner of U.S. Hwy. #1 & N.E. 15th Ave., Boynton Beach, Florida. Further services and burial will be in Columbus, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Community Care Association, American Heart Association or arrange for a Mass to be celebrated in Martha’s memory.
