She lived in Whitestone, New York until retiring to Florida in 1980. Marion was a parishioner of St. Mark Catholic Church. Her Catholic faith was her guiding light.

In addition to the delights produced in her kitchen, Marion was known for always remembering birthdays and special occasions. With her large family, shopping at the greeting card store was always an interesting monthly event.
In retirement, Marion enjoyed activities with friends including golf, bowling, cards, bingo, and membership in several clubs in her Leisureville community.
Marion will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was proud of her family and their accomplishments.
Besides her parents, Marion was preceded in death by her loving husband, Martin Jarsky in 2011. She is survived by three sons, Martin, Michael and his wife Penny, Steven and his wife Linda; daughter, Mary Ann and her husband Vincent Hogan; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
