age 87 of Boynton Beach passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016.
Mrs. Bernard was born September 6, 1928 in Valcourt, Quebec, Canada to the late Charles-Adelard and Elphegina Goyette. She was united in marriage to Jean-Charles Bernard on August 2, 1952 in Greenly, Quebec, Canada. He preceded her in death July 8, 2005 and they were married for almost 53 blissful years. Mrs. Bernard was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and she served as an “Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion” and a volunteer.
She is survived by her children and spouses; Carole Bernard-Hebert (Gilles Hebert) of Raleigh, NC, Johane Bernard-Mattson (Daniel Mattson) of Boynton Beach, FL; 4 loving grandchildren, Jonathan Hebert, Christine Gregory (Jonathan Gregory) of Raleigh, NC, Chelsea Mattson and Logan Mattson of Boynton Beach, FL.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Inurnment at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10935 S. Military Trail, Boynton Beach, FL 33437 in Mrs. Bernard’s memory.
