Marie C. Pacouloute, age 71, a resident of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026. She was born on June 14, 1954, in Port-de-Paix, Haiti.
As an adolescent, Marie completed her primary education at Chev Les Sœurs de Port-de-Paix and her secondary education at Lycée Tertulien Guilbeau. She later moved to Port-au-Prince, where she continued her education in healthcare and worked at a Sanatorium Hospital in Port au Prince, beginning her lifelong calling to care for others.
In 1979, Marie immigrated to Miami, Florida, where she built a beautiful life rooted in perseverance, family, and service. Upon arriving in the United States, she worked in the retail and service industry, where her dedication and strong work ethic allowed her to advance through management roles, including Assistant Manager, Store Manager, and Area Manager.
After retiring early from the retail/service industry, Marie returned to her true passion—helping others—by pursuing nursing and reentering the healthcare field.

She is survived by her three beloved daughters: Daphkare Francois, Eugenia Pacouloute-Souverain, and Shena Jones; and her cherished bonus children, Assonta Lysus and Murduch Pacouloute, whom she shared with her former husband, George V. Pacouloute. Though separated, Marie and George remained united in love, friendship, and family for over 30 years, standing together as a family until her final breath.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thaleus Eugene and Philomene Pierre. She is survived by her siblings: Estella Alcidas, Jean Eugene, and Thomas Tanus, and is also lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Zachary Pacouloute, Agnes Pacouloute, Philomene Carllot, and Leonie Andre.
