Margot Graves Vlassis died unexpectedly Friday January 13th, 2017 at the age of 65. Margot is survived by her husband of 42 years Dennis, son Micah Vlassis, daughter Nikki Schreiber, son-in-law Austin Schreiber, granddaughter Livi Schreiber and brother Keith Graves and sister Pamela O’Neill (Akron, OH).
Margot was born September 1, 1951 in Akron Ohio to Harold and Carolyn Graves. She graduated from Firestone High School (Akron, OH) and from Stetson University (DeLand, FL) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. She married Dennis Vlassis in 1974 and settled in Boynton Beach with her family in the early 1980’s. She dedicated her life to raising their children and was active in many community organizations.
Her life will be celebrated in a memorial service on Thursday, January 19th at 10:00 A.M. with reception to follow at Trinity United Methodist Church, 9625 N. Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Trinity United Methodist Church.
